Compassionate Support for Our Community

The Capt. Doc’s Fishing Foundation was created from a simple belief: fishing is more than a sport — it’s a way to connect people, build character, and serve others.
Founded by Capt. Troy Beasley, owner and operator of Capt. Doc’s Fishing Charters, the foundation exists to give back to the coastal and inland communities that have supported his business and his family. Rooted in faith, service, and a passion for the outdoors, the foundation focuses on helping meet real needs while also sharing the joy and values found through fishing.
Through our outreach programs, we work to:
  • Provide food and essential items to individuals and families facing hardship
  • Introduce children to fishing by placing rods and reels into their hands
  • Create positive outdoor experiences that build confidence, responsibility, and hope
Our initiatives include projects like Capt. Doc’s Bounty Box, a community-based pantry offering food and basic necessities, and the Reel Joy Giveaway, which provides fishing gear to children who may not otherwise have access to it.
Every effort of the Capt. Doc’s Fishing Foundation is built on the idea of becoming true "fishers of men" — meeting people where they are, lifting them up, and using fishing as a bridge to something greater.
Whether you’re a business, a fellow angler, or a community member, we invite you to be part of this mission. Together, we can serve, inspire, and make a lasting impact — one cast, one meal, and one life at a time.

Our Mission

At the Capt. Doc’s Fishing Foundation, our mission is to serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and joy by providing food, resources, and community connection to those in need — especially families and individuals experiencing hardship.
Inspired by a "fishers of men" spirit, we cast more than just lines — we cast hope into hearts and homes.
We believe no one should go hungry, and that every act of service — big or small — builds stronger, more resilient communities.
